T-minus 2 Days!

Happy Fourth of July! We are in final preparations for our Alaska road trip. Sir Mix a Lot is cleaned out and ready to load up. All we need to do is...almost everything! Packing food, clothes, camping gear, dog stuff...ooh la la.

Hoping for an early departure on Saturday morning and crossing our fingers for a smooth border crossing. Our goal for day one (with a campsite reserved already!) is to make it to Barkerville Historic Town & Park. It's a cute little tourist town in British Columbia that we are planning to camp at and get breakfast in the next morning. It looks like the video game town "Valentine," from Red Dead Redemption. I'd like to say that's for Logan's benefit, but I think it will be pretty neat, too! 😂

Well here's to a great Independence Day and productive packing! On Saturday, it's North! To Alaska!!!
